The Seaport District is part of the larger neighborhood of South Boston and is officially referred to as The South Boston Waterfront. It is part of the Port of Boston, on Boston Harbor. The Seaport was previously cut off from the rest of the city by the Central Artery, I-93. As a result of the Big Dig, I-93 was diverted below ground and public transportation now connects the area with downtown Boston. As of 2017, the Seaport had almost 80 restaurants and 8 hotels. Several companies have moved their corporate headquarters to the area, including GE and Reebok. South Shore Custom Cabinets is happy to serve the Seaport District area of Boston.
